Gaza: A Palestinian man was killed in an Israeli air strike on Mansoura Street in the Shujayea neighbourhood, located in the east of Gaza City, according to on-ground reports from journalists.
In another tragic incident, a child has died from wounds sustained in an Israeli attack on a tent sheltering displaced people in al-Mawasi, Khan Younis.
These attacks come as Israel continues its military campaign, which was renewed in March. Since then, the Israeli army has issued multiple forced evacuation orders, pushing Palestinians into designated areas like al-Mawasi.
Despite being marked as a supposed “safe zone,” al-Mawasi has been repeatedly targeted by Israeli air strikes, raising concerns over the safety of civilians, especially children.
The continued bombings and forced displacements have worsened the humanitarian situation in Gaza, where thousands remain without adequate shelter, protection, or aid.
